Engine Oil Life Resetting Procedure

Application:

2006-07 Accord, 2006-07 Accord Hybrid,
2006-07 Civic, 2006-07 Civic Hybrid, 2007
CR-V, 2007 Element, 2007 Fit, 2005-07
Odyssey (Except Touring), 2006-07 Pilot,
2006-07 S2000

Procedure:

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Repeatedly press and release theSELECT/RESET (TRIP) knob (button) on
the instrument panel until the engine oil life
appears in the information display.
3. Press and hold the knob (button) for about10 seconds until the engine oil life and the
maintenance item code(s) start to
blink.
4. Press and hold the knob (button) for about
5 seconds until the maintenance item
code(s) clear and the engine oil life
resets to 100.

2005-07 Odyssey Touring

Procedure:

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Repeatedly press and release the
SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel
until the engine oil life appears in the multi-
information display (MID).
3. Press and hold the button for about
10 seconds until the display changes to
CUSTOM SETUP.
4. Press and hold the button again until the
maintenance item code(s) clear and the
engine oil life resets to 100.

2006-07 Ridgeline

Procedure:

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
2. Repeatedly press and release the SELECT
button on the instrument panel until the
engine oil life or the service
message appears in the information display.
3. Press and hold the RESET button for about
10 seconds until the MAINT RESET
message appears.
4. Press and release the SELECT button as
needed to select MAINT RESET> Y.
5. Press and hold the RESET button again
until the engine oil life resets to 100.
