• Honda/Acura experience preferred but not necessary
• Must have automotive schooling and/or dealership experience
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a background test/drug screening
• Must be able to remain up to date on required manufacturer training
• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, lower, push, leverage, and manipulate equipment and/or items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be reliable
• Must be able to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be available to work rotating Saturdays

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned by the shop dispatchers. All work performed must be in accordance with dealer and manufacturers specification and standards.

Job Details:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills in person, in writing and on the telephone

• Knowledge with windows based computer programs and ability to learn ADP and Xtime dealership software
• Must have some accounting or strong mathematical background and able to handle money transactions

• No automotive background necessary

Compensation

• $11-$14/hr based on experience +monthly spiff incentive for call center employees

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting service drive team with moving vehicles in service drive efficiently
• Performing a walk around on customer vehicles inspecting for damage
• Interact with customers
• Transporting vehicles around our lot and to others
• Operate vehicles through our car washes
• Manage rental car inventory
• Keep service lot neat and in order, moving vehicles as needed
• Assisting technicians with moving service vehicles
• Shuttle customers to and from dealership
• Pick up and deliver parts to and from other dealerships
• Maintain service lot maintenance as needed in all seasons

Compensation

• $10-12/hr based on experience
• Flexible hours but must be able to work Saturdays

This is a perfect position for someone currently going to college and needs flexible shifts
